Terms & Conditions

Overview
These terms govern your use of SDC Growth Studio's website and the services we provide. By engaging SDC Growth Studio for any project or service, you agree to these terms. "Client" refers to the individual or business hiring SDC. "SDC" refers to SDC Growth Studio.
Services
SDC Growth Studio provides digital presence and growth services including, but not limited to:
- Website design and development
- Digital presence audits
- Lead capture and intake systems
- Follow-up and automation workflow setup
- Monthly website support and optimization
- Creator monetization systems
The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are outlined in a separate proposal or scope of work document agreed upon before work begins.
Payment
Payment terms are defined per project. Standard terms are:
- Website projects: 50% deposit required before work begins; remaining balance due upon project completion before final files or launch.
- Monthly retainers: Billed monthly in advance. First payment due before work begins.
- One-time services (audits, campaigns): Payment due in full before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Setup fees and monthly management fees are always separate line items. SDC does not bundle heavy setup work into a low monthly rate without a minimum commitment.
Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may result in paused work. SDC reserves the right to withhold deliverables until outstanding balances are settled.
Revisions
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project scope. Revisions outside of the agreed scope, or requests that materially change the original direction, may be scoped and billed separately.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide all necessary content, assets, logins, and approvals in a timely manner
- Review deliverables and provide feedback within agreed timelines
- Ensure all materials provided to SDC are owned by the client or properly licensed
- Maintain access to domains, hosting, and third-party accounts after handoff
Project delays caused by the client (late content, unresponsiveness, scope changes) are not the responsibility of SDC and may affect the delivery timeline.
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all custom deliverables produced for their project — including website files, copy written for the project, and custom graphics.
SDC retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and use it for marketing and case study purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to project start.
SDC retains ownership of any internal tools, frameworks, templates, or proprietary processes used during the project.
No Guarantee of Results
SDC does not guarantee specific outcomes such as search engine rankings, lead volume, revenue increases, or conversion rates. Digital performance depends on many factors outside of SDC's control, including market conditions, client follow-up, and platform algorithm changes.
SDC commits to delivering quality work aligned with the agreed scope — not to guaranteed business results.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the course of a project. SDC will not share client business details, internal processes, or sensitive data with third parties without permission.
Limitation of Liability
SDC Growth Studio's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific project or service in question. SDC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If the client terminates a project after work has begun, any work completed up to that point is billable. The deposit is non-refundable once work has started. Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.
Changes to These Terms
SDC may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued engagement with SDC after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
